ACIM Self-Study: The Invitation to the Holy Spirit

Healing is a thought by which two minds perceive their oneness and become glad. (ACIM, T-5.I.1:1)

Healing is a thought based on love. Yung love na ‘to ay joining of minds, not bodies.

Kaya sa intro ng Chapter 5, sinasabi natin na when you heal yourself, you also heal others kasi yung mind ang nag-hi-heal dun.

⁴If you do not choose to be wholly joyous, your mind cannot have what it does not choose to be. ⁵Remember that spirit knows no difference between having and being. (ACIM, T-5.I.1:4-5)

Which is mahirap para sa ego kasi to be happy is to be whole and become one, na ayaw ng ego.

⁷To spirit getting is meaningless and giving is all. (ACIM, T-5.I.1:7)

For-giving is to spirit. For-getting is to ego. At parehas nilang hindi alam yung opposite.

This is the invitation to the Holy Spirit. ²I have said already that I can reach up and bring the Holy Spirit down to you, but I can bring Him to you only at your own invitation. (ACIM, T-5.I.3:1-2)

Tulay natin si Jesus (at iba pang spiritual masters / teachers) kay God, pero nasa atin pa rin kung tatawirin natin yung tulay o hindi.

⁶It asks that you may think as I thought, joining with me in Christ thinking. (ACIM, T-5.I.3:6)

“Christ consciousness,” o ibig sabihin, to think as Jesus thinks. Or mas tamang sabihin, to know as Jesus knows.

Eto yung thought system na tinuturo ng A Course in Miracles.

The Holy Spirit is the Christ Mind which is aware of the knowledge that lies beyond perception. ²He came into being with the separation as a protection, inspiring the Atonement principle at the same time. (ACIM, T-5.I.5:1-2)

⁵Perception is not knowledge, but it can be transferred to knowledge, or cross over into it. ⁶It might even be more helpful here to use the literal meaning of transferred or “carried over,” since the last step is taken by God. (ACIM, T-5.I.6:5-6)

Napag-usapan na natin last time yung pagkakaiba ng perception at knowledge.

Right perception, o yung tinatawag na “miracle,” ang kailangan na setup for knowledge.

Pag na-setup na, magiging posible na yung revelation of God, which is a personal experience para sa bawat isa.
