Oo, for some time, nung early adulting phase ko from 2008-2016 (read my story), napalapit talaga ako kay Lord dahil sa mga problema.
At malaking factor dito yung teachings ng A Course In Miracles (ACIM).
This year, nire-review ko ulit yung Workbook, at natapat na yung lesson for the day is about “problem”.
Lesson 79: Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved.
Eto yung nasasaad sa book… Basa:
1. A problem cannot be solved if you do not know what it is. ²Even if it is really solved already you will still have the problem, because you will not recognize that it has been solved. ³This is the situation of the world. ⁴The problem of separation, which is really the only problem, has already been solved. ⁵Yet the solution is not recognized because the problem is not recognized. (ACIM, W-79.1:1-5)
The problem of separation - eto yung illusion of separation, yung false thinking that we are separate from God, which is really the only problem daw.
Never tayong na-separate from God.
It was just an idea, a “tiny, mad idea” sabi nga ng Course, projected by our minds. And ‘di ba, powerful ang minds natin? What our mind believes becomes our reality.
Mas detailed yung discussion natin about this sa Chapter 2, Section 1: The Origins of Separation.
This is the situation of the world. We live in a world of separation. We live in a world of problems… BUT! This is NOT the “real problem.”
The problem is, we believe it’s real. We believe that we are separate from God.
Kaya tayo natatakot. FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real. We live in a world of fear.
The good news is, separation is not real. Kaya bungad ng Course: Nothing unreal exists. Problem solved! Kasi, in the first place, the problem never existed.
Yet the solution is not recognized because the problem is not recognized. Yun lang, hindi natin ma-recognize.
Hindi natin ma-recognize kasi hindi tayo aware. Unconscious tayo.
This lack of awareness—unconsciousness—is the root cause of all seeming “problems” in the world.
2. Everyone in this world seems to have his own special problems. ²Yet they are all the same, and must be recognized as one if the one solution that solves them all is to be accepted. ³Who can see that a problem has been solved if he thinks the problem is something else? ⁴Even if he is given the answer, he cannot see its relevance. (ACIM, W-79.2:1-4)
Relevance?
Siguro iisipin mo, ano namang kinalaman nyang separation eklavu sa oil price hike? Mababayaran ba nyan mga utang? O kaya sa lovelife, babalik ba si ex pag nalaman niyang separation is an illusion? O kaya sa work, magkaka-increase ba sa sahod dahil dyan?
Hindi. Wala. Kasi yang mga yan ay different forms of the same problem, which is beyond form.
²If you could recognize that your only problem is separation, no matter what form it takes, you could accept the answer because you would see its relevance. ³Perceiving the underlying constancy in all the problems that seem to confront you, you would understand that you have the means to solve them all. ⁴And you would use the means, because you recognize the problem. (ACIM, W-79.6:2-4)
So, anong mas epektibong bigyan ng solution: yung multiple endless effects, o yung single cause, once and for all?
Yung single cause of all effects ang solution na itinuturo sa atin ng A Course in Miracles.
“Miracle,” or yung shift in perception. Hindi yung situation ang binabago, kundi yung perception natin—how we perceive ourselves, which determines how we respond to the situation.
If we perceive ourselves as separate from God, we respond from fear.
When we respond from fear (cause), ang na-e-experience natin ay effects of fear: anxiety, anger, hate, etc.
Eto yung tinutukoy ng Course na underlying constancy in all the problems—yung underlying fear, yung underlying belief in separation.
It’s the other way around: pag nawawalay tayo sa Diyos (separation), dun tayo mas nalalapitan ng mga problema.
Now, if we perceive ourselves as one with God, we respond from love.
And when we respond from love (cause), ang ma-e-experience naman natin ay effects of love: peace, joy, kindness, etc.
Same situation, different experience.
Anong difference? Perspective.
Na-realize ko na yung mga times na marami akong pinoproblema were the times that I believed I was separate from God—Si God nasa heaven somewhere, at ako naman nagdurusa dito sa mundo.
The Truth is, I was never separate from God. We never were.
And that recognition ang nagpabago ng experience ko sa buhay.
The shift in perspective allowed me to see “problems” differently. Nakikita ko na lang sila as opportunities to become more and more aware of fear-based beliefs na deeply ingrained sa subconscious ko.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, na-ta-transform yung belief system from fear to love. That’s the miracle.
And I wish to extend that miracle to you.
Para next time na may mag-invite sa’yo to share your life story, ang masasabi mo na ay, “Pag napapalapit ka sa Diyos, mas nalalapitan ka rin ng mga blessings.”
Amen?
