The escape from darkness involves two stages: First, the recognition that darkness cannot hide. ²This step usually entails fear. ³Second, the recognition that there is nothing you want to hide even if you could. ⁴This step brings escape from fear. ⁵When you have become willing to hide nothing, you will not only be willing to enter into communion but will also understand peace and joy. (ACIM, T-1.IV.1:1-5)
Yung darkness na tinutukoy dito ay yung unconscious mind natin. Alam mo yung part na yun sa’yo? Hindi pa sa ngayon, kaya nga unconscious.
May 2 stages daw para malagpasan ang darkness, para maging aware tayo sa unconscious part ng mind natin.
Una, ma-realize natin na hindi makakapagtago ang unconscious mind.
Pangalawa, ma-realize natin na hindi talaga natin gugustuhing itago yung unconscious mind kung alam lang natin kung anong ginagawa nun sa 'tin.
Tapos, ma-realize rin natin na deep inside, wala naman tayong kailangang itago.
Kapag na-realize natin yun at naging willing tayong ilantad yung fear, ang magiging kapalit nun ay peace at joy.
Holiness can never be really hidden in darkness, but you can deceive yourself about it. ²This deception makes you fearful because you realize in your heart it is a deception, and you exert enormous efforts to establish its reality. (ACIM, T-1.IV.2:1-2)
Ang truth ay truth kahit hindi mo paniwalaan. Ang lie ay lie kahit paniwalaan mo.
At alam mo sa sarili mo na lie ang pinaniniwalaan mo dahil nakakaramdam ka ng takot. Alam mo kasi na hindi totoo, pero pilit mong pinaniniwalaan. Kaya nabubuo ang mga beliefs.
Ang belief ay thought system based on deception o lies. Kaya kailangan ng maraming lies para ma-reinforce yung belief system, kasi kung hindi e mag-co-collapse yung belief system.
Kaya ang deception ay todo-effort sa paggawa ng mga beliefs para mag-survive.
Ang truth ay walang belief system. It can stand on its own.
Yan yung pinapahiwatig ni Jesus dun sa teaching niya about a house built on sand (deception) at a house built on solid rock (truth).
³The miracle sets reality where it belongs. ⁴Reality belongs only to spirit, and the miracle acknowledges only truth. ⁵It thus dispels illusions about yourself, and puts you in communion with yourself and God. (ACIM, T-1.IV.2:3-5)
Yung miracle ay founded on truth at yun lang ang inaacknowledge niya na reality. Everything else is just an idea, tulad ng paulit-ulit nating sinasabi.
Binabalewala lang ng miracle yung mga lies kaya hindi nare-reinforce yung belief system – nag-co-collapse.
Pag nag-collapse, anong matitira? Yung truth, nare-reveal. Yan yung revelation na napag-usapan natin last time – yung connection natin kay God na pwedeng matabunan ng lies pero hindi talaga napuputol.
⁷This establishes the proper function of the mind and corrects its errors, which are merely lacks of love. ⁸Your mind can be possessed by illusions, but spirit is eternally free. ⁹If a mind perceives without love, it perceives an empty shell and is unaware of the spirit within. (ACIM, T-1.IV.2:7-9)
Yung mga lies ang errors of the mind. Yung mind lang ang pwedeng magkamali, pero yung spirit natin hindi – perfect ang spirit – “walang bahid ng kasalanan.”
Nagkakaron ng error ang mind pag hindi siya tumitingin sa eyes of love.
Pag walang love, puro illusions ang makikita ng mind at hindi yung spirit natin na reality.
Darkness is lack of light as sin is lack of love. ²It has no unique properties of its own. (ACIM, T-1.IV.3:1-2)
Darkness is only lack of light. Hindi siya “evil” or “wrong” or “bad”.
Parang yung black, hindi naman talaga siya color. Lacking of color lang yung black. Wala siyang sariling properties.
Likewise, sin is only lack of love. Hindi rin siya “evil” or “wrong” or “bad”.
⁵Those who perceive and acknowledge that they have everything have no needs of any kind. ⁶The purpose of the Atonement is to restore everything to you; or rather, to restore it to your awareness. ⁷You were given everything when you were created, just as everyone was. (ACIM, T-1.IV.3:5-7)

Hindi nawawala yung love, peace, at happiness. Ang nawawala lang ay yung awareness.
Actually, yun ang nag-la-lack. Darkness is lack of awareness of light. Sin is lack of awareness of love.
Yung miracle ay hindi para mapunan yung pagkukulang mo. Miracle ay yung awareness na wala kang kakulangan.
Yun ang binabalik sa atin ng Atonement, yung awareness na nasa atin na ang lahat.
