Revelation time!
⁵Revelation unites you directly with God. ⁶Miracles unite you directly with your brother. (ACIM, T-1.II.1:5-6)
Yun ang pinagkaiba nila. Yung miracles ay between us mga kapatid, kapuso, at kapamilya. Yung revelation naman ay between you and God.
Miracles ang connection natin sa isa’t-isa. Revelation naman ang connection natin kay God.
⁹You are free to believe what you choose, and what you do attests to what you believe. (ACIM, T-1.II.1:9)
Free will, sis.
Revelation is intensely personal and cannot be meaningfully translated. ²That is why any attempt to describe it in words is impossible. ³Revelation induces only experience. ⁷Revelation is literally unspeakable because it is an experience of unspeakable love. (ACIM, T-1.II.2:1-7)
Dahil ang revelation ay between you and God lang, e hindi ko yun ma-eexplain sa’yo. Makikilala mo lang ang Diyos through your personal experience. Mangyayari yun pag ready ka na to experience God.
At yun ang purpose ng miracles, piniprepare ka para maging ready ka for God’s revelation to you.
Awe should be reserved for revelation, to which it is perfectly and correctly applicable. ²It is not appropriate for miracles because a state of awe is worshipful, implying that one of a lesser order stands before his Creator. (ACIM, T-1.II.3:1-2)
AWE MY GOD... Ganern yung feeling ng revelation ng created (tayo) to his/her Creator (God).
Pero yung miracles, hindi. Kasi it’s between the created (tayo ulit), na pantay-pantay lang. We are all equal creatures.
So, ano yung mas bagay na reaksyon? Love.
⁴The miracle is therefore a sign of love among equals. ⁵Equals should not be in awe of one another because awe implies inequality. (ACIM, T-1.II.3:4-5)
Eto sabi niya:
⁶It is therefore an inappropriate reaction to me. ⁷An elder brother is entitled to respect for his greater experience, and obedience for his greater wisdom. ⁸He is also entitled to love because he is a brother… ¹⁰There is nothing about me that you cannot attain. (ACIM, T-1.II.3:6-10)
Jesus is also our brother – our equal.
“There is nothing about me that you cannot attain,” kasi equal natin si Jesus. Lamang siya sa experience at kaalaman as our elder brother. Pero we’re all equal children of God.
“No man cometh unto the Father but by me” does not mean that I am in any way separate or different from you except in time, and time does not really exist. ²The statement is more meaningful in terms of a vertical rather than a horizontal axis. (ACIM, T-1.II.4:1-2)
Parang sinasabi ni Jesus dyan e dadaan muna tayo sa level niya in terms of experience at kaalaman bago natin ma-reach yung state ni God.
Vertical axis, yan yung state of consciousness.
Kaya sabi, “it doesn’t really exist.” Kasi time is just a human concept. Remember ulit sa intro natin? Everything else is just an idea.
I can thus bring down to them more than they can draw down to themselves. ³The Holy Spirit mediates higher to lower communication, keeping the direct channel from God to you open for revelation. (ACIM, T-1.II.5:2-3)
Yan naman yung kasama sa pinag-usapan nating Principles of Miracles last time.
Dahil nasa human consciousness pa lang tayo, kailangan natin ang tulong ni Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Yung Holy Spirit kasi yung bridge from human consciousness to Christ consciousness to God.
Kasi gusto niya, sana all.
However, the miracle entails a sudden shift from horizontal to vertical perception. ⁶There is no relationship between the time a miracle takes and the time it covers. ⁷The miracle substitutes for learning that might have taken thousands of years. ⁸It does so by the underlying recognition of perfect equality of giver and receiver on which the miracle rests. (ACIM, T-1.II.6:3-8)
Yun oh, dahil yung linear time ay nasa horizontal axis, any “time” pwedeng mangyari yung miracle. Mag-si-shift na yung perception mo from the horizontal to the vertical axis.
Yung tinuro ni Jesus more than 2,000 years ago, e ma-ge-gets mo lang in an instant! It’s a miracle!
Kasi yung miracle is not based on time. Nakabase siya sa equality natin. Lahat tayo ay giver and receiver of miracles sa iba’t-ibang pagkakataon.
So paano, "next time" na lang ulit!
