Our emphasis is now on healing. ²The miracle is the means, the Atonement is the principle, and healing is the result. (ACIM, T-2.IV.1:1-2)
“I AM the way, the truth, and the life,” sabi ni Jesus.
Miracle is the way, Atonement is the truth, healing is the life. Yown!
⁷All healing is essentially the release from fear. (ACIM, T-2.IV.1:7)
Healing is release from fear, meaning to say, fear is the sickness.
²Sickness or “not-right-mindedness” is the result of level confusion, (ACIM, T-2.IV.2:2)
Another term for sickness is “not-right-mindedness.” So ibig sabihin, sickness is of the mind.
⁴Only the mind is capable of error. ⁵The body can act wrongly only when it is responding to misthought. ⁶The body cannot create, and the belief that it can, a fundamental error, produces all physical symptoms. (ACIM, T-2.IV.2:4-6)
Eto yung isang big AHA moment ko from A Course in Miracles: sickness is of the mind, NOT the body.
Yung mind lang ang nagkakasakit – error in thinking, or wrong perception.
Yung body ay nagre-respond lang sa thoughts natin.
Kung iniisip natin na nagkakasakit ang body, fundamental error in thinking yun. At yung error na yun results in all physical symptoms.
So yung body ay either nagma-manifest ng symptom of health or sickness.
Ano daw ulit yung health? Health is inner peace, sabi sa previous topic.
Ano ulit yung sickness? Fear.
Ano yung cure? Miracles.
Anong result? Healing.
Only the mind can create because spirit has already been created, and the body is a learning device for the mind. ²Learning devices are not lessons in themselves. ³Their purpose is merely to facilitate learning. (ACIM, T-2.IV.3:1-3)
The body is a learning aid for the mind.
So depende sa symptoms of the body, matututunan natin kung anong condition ng mind natin – right-minded ba or wrong-minded?
⁷This is not because the body is a miracle, but because it is not inherently open to misinterpretation. (ACIM, T-2.IV.3:7)
Hindi marunong magsinungaling ang katawan natin. Iniinterpret niya lang yung mind natin. Binibigyan niya tayo ng honest feedback.
Kaya mainam na bigyan ng attention yung mga messages na binibigay ng katawan natin.
⁵Sometimes the illness has a sufficiently strong hold over the mind to render a person temporarily inaccessible to the Atonement. ⁶In this case it may be wise to utilize a compromise approach to mind and body, in which something from the outside is temporarily given healing belief. (ACIM, T-2.IV.4:5-6)
E yun nga yung kailangang ma-release – yung identification with the body, ‘di ba?
⁷This is because the last thing that can help the non-right-minded, or the sick, is an increase in fear. ⁸They are already in a fear-weakened state. (ACIM, T-2.IV.4:7-8)
Healing is gradual.
At iba-iba yung process para sa bawat isa.
Kung ang makakapagbigay sa’yo ng peace of mind ay yung pag-inom ng gamot, go lang.
Remember, ang goal is to release from fear. Yung miracles ay for permanent healing.
Kung anumang way for temporary relief ang meron, pwede siyang isabay with the course until the time na hindi mo na kakailanganin ng mga gamot.
⁶The whole aim of the miracle is to raise the level of communication, not to lower it by increasing fear. (ACIM, T-2.IV.5:6)
Ang aim ng miracle ay hindi to cure the body, but to heal the mind.
To heal the mind, ang ginagawa ng miracle ay nire-raise yung level of consciousness natin – to the level na hindi na nagkakasakit yung katawan.
Kasi once na matuto na tayo from the sickness to correct the error in our minds, nagawa na ng body yung purpose niya.
